The Pitney Meadows' team ushered in 2018 on February 10th at our "Winter Social", held in collaboration with Artisanal Brew Works, to gather and toast the success of last year and the year to come. The event also marked the official launch of our Clynk fundraising campaign, which you can read about here, lead by Pitney Meadows team member Tom Garrett.

Board members, team members and past-mayor Joanne Yepsen all gave short toasts, covering the success of last years Fire Feast, which is renewed for July 31, 2018, the community gardens, all the construction completed by volunteers on the farm, and the amazing support of the community throughout the past few years.

The event was also a success thanks to Artisanal Brew Works who, not only hosted us, but generously donated $2 for every drink purchased throughout the day to Pitney Meadows. This helped us raise over $1400 to support Pitney Meadows' 2018 projects currently under discussion by our Strategic Planning Team.

Thank you to all who came to the event and supported us and especially to the many hundreds who gave time and resources over the last year to help bring Pitney Meadows Community Farm to where it is today. Here is a toast to you!

The vision that created Pitney Meadows Community Farm is rapidly becoming a reality. As we celebrate the end of our first year on the farm, we send our heartfelt thanks to all who have made this progress possible. We're off to a great start and -- with your continued support -- we look forward to an exciting New Year.
